Greece to auction €400 million in 26-week treasury bills
The Public Debt Management Agency (PDMA) will conduct an auction for 26-week treasury bills totaling 400 million euros on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The bills are set to mature on February 19, 2027, and will be issued in intangible form.
The auction will involve competitive bids from Primary Dealers through the Hellenic Differential Settlement System. Non-competitive bids may also be submitted until 12:00 PM on the day of the auction, with a cap of 25% of the total amount to be satisfied at the weighted average price of successful competitive bids.
In addition to institutional participation, the Greek government is allowing individual investors to purchase these securities through public subscription at any bank or brokerage firm. For natural persons, the maximum nominal value per individual is capped at 15,000 euros.
