Greece to pay €50.4 million in unemployment and family benefits in June

Between 15 and 19 June 2026 the Greek e‑EFKA and the Public Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ) will distribute a total of €50,393,656.46 to 48,150 beneficiaries. e‑EFKA’s share exceeds €15.1 million, including €193,656.46 on 15 June for 150 former OAEE recipients and €15 million for one‑off benefits for 800 people. ΔΥΠΑ will disburse roughly €35.2 million, comprising €17 million in unemployment benefits for 28 000 claimants, €1 million for maternity‑leave subsidies to 1 500 mothers, €15 million for subsidised employment programmes benefiting 14 000 individuals, and €2.2 million for public‑interest projects for 3 700 participants. In total, more than 48 000 Greek citizens will receive cash assistance or subsidies during the five‑day payment period.

These payments are part of the regular disbursement schedule of the two social‑security agencies, aimed at supporting unemployed workers, young families and participants in public‑benefit programmes.
