Greece schedules late‑July 2026 child allowance and pension payouts
The Greek government will make a second automatic child‑allowance payment of €150 per child to eligible families by 31 August 2026. The payment covers children born between 1 January 2025 and 31 July 2026 and is credited without a new application, using existing tax‑registration data.
A third child‑allowance installment is set for 31 July 2026. Recipients who missed earlier disbursements and submitted a request by 10 July will receive a retroactive “triple” payment, bringing total benefit amounts up to €840 per family depending on the number of children.
Pension payments for August 2026 will be credited by e‑EFKA in two stages: non‑salaried retirees on Tuesday 28 July and salaried retirees on Thursday 30 July. The OPEKA agency will complete its pension and benefit transfers on Friday 31 July.
Between 20 July and 24 July, e‑EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA) will disburse €68.6 million to 80,169 beneficiaries for maternity, unemployment, sick‑leave, funeral‑expense and other social benefits.
