Greece travel highlights feature Peloponnese villages and exotic beaches

Various scenic locations across Greece offer diverse natural experiences for travelers. In the Peloponnese, the village of Melissopetra in mountainous Arcadia sits at an altitude of 850 meters, characterized by a traditional atmosphere, walnut trees, and plane trees. Nearby in Argolis, Plaka in Drepanos features a three-kilometer coastline where palm trees, banana trees, and orange groves meet the sea, creating an exotic landscape often compared to the Caribbean.

In Corinthia, the village of Zacholi (also known as Eurostini) is situated at 750 meters altitude. The area is defined by the Zacholitikos River and the Mill Stream, which features small waterfalls, ponds, and lush vegetation. The village also holds historical significance with the Church of Saint George, built in 1811 according to local legend.
