Greece U18 women's team defeats Slovakia 78-60 in EuroBasket Division B

The Greece under‑18 women’s national basketball team beat Slovakia 78‑60 in Tulscea, Romania, securing a third straight win in Group D of the EuroBasket U18 Division B tournament. The victory puts Greece within a single game of mathematically clinching first place in the group, with the next match scheduled against Denmark on 4 August.

Coach Vasilis Maslarinos praised the squad’s performance, noting the team’s strong defense and balanced scoring. Leading scorers included Kakaras (17 points), Viga (8), Zorbalá (11) and Foustéri (7). The win was described as a “complete and dominant” display, positioning Greece as the group favorite.
