Greece: Upcoming deadlines for teacher transfers and tax filings

Several administrative and financial deadlines are approaching in Greece. For permanent teachers, the annual transfer application process is scheduled to take place from October 16 to October 31. These applications, submitted electronically via the Online Management System of the Teacher Registry, determine service locations for the following school year. The deadline is strictly enforced.

In the financial sector, multiple deadlines conclude between September 28 and September 30. This includes the final date for the Thessaly–Evros Pass applications on September 28, which provides digital cards for accommodation and local travel. On September 29, taxpayers who have challenged their imputed income must complete a mandatory questionnaire for the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE). Additionally, September 30 serves as the final deadline for making corrections to tax returns (E1) for those seeking rent refunds.
