Greece's e‑EFKA activates new overdue‑debt subsystem for the Center for Collection of Social Insurance Debts

From 10 August 2026 the new overdue‑debt sub‑system of the Centre for Collection of Social Insurance Debts (ΚΕΑΟ) will enter productive operation within the e‑EFKA Integrated Information System (OΠS). To ensure a smooth transition, all electronic services of ΚΕΑΟ are suspended between 3 August 2026 19:00 and 10 August 2026 19:00, including the IRIS payment channel, which will be disabled during this period. Payments using the Debtor Identity (a banking product) will continue and be processed after the transition window. The e‑EFKA portal will not display overdue‑debt information in the myEFKA app during the switch, but all other functions remain active. Payments made up to 31 July 2026 will be considered for issuing insurance certificates and debt confirmations.
