Greece to disburse €140.9 million to 192,717 beneficiaries in early August
The Greek Ministry of Labour and Social Security announced that between 3 and 7 August 2026 a total of €140,944,067.30 will be paid to 192,717 eligible recipients by the e‑EFKA (electronic Social Insurance Fund) and the Public Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ).
e‑EFKA’s schedule includes €298,000 on 3 August for external TAUTEKO allowances, €14,169,339.03 on 5 August for various benefits, a €15 million one‑off payment from 3‑7 August, and a €57,476,728.27 disbursement on 6 August for the second‑semester gift‑payment.
ΔΥΠΑ will allocate €23 million for unemployment benefits to 38,000 claimants, €12 million for subsidised maternity leave to 17,000 mothers, and €19 million for employment‑programme participants, covering 18,000 beneficiaries. The combined payouts affect a broad cross‑section of workers, retirees and families across Greece.
