Greece's e‑EFKA launches integrated digital system to speed pensions

The Greek Social Insurance Institute (e‑EFKA) is rolling out a new Integrated Information System (Ο. Π. Σ.) as part of its digital transformation. The platform will consolidate all core data, automate key processes—especially pension allocations—and link the agency with the Independent Authority for Public Revenue and the General Commercial Registry. The changes aim to cut waiting times, reduce the need for in‑person visits and lower bureaucratic errors.

According to officials, the system will give insured citizens real‑time access to their contribution records, insurance history and electronic certificates via dashboards and mobile apps. Employers will benefit from a single interface that streamlines declarations and submissions, improving accuracy and saving administrative time. The reforms were presented by Labour and Social Security Minister Niki Kerameos, emphasizing a shift toward a more transparent and citizen‑focused public service.
