Greek AADE launches new Thessaloniki tax centre on July 27

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) will activate a new Tax Procedures and Service Centre (KEFODE) in Thessaloniki on Monday, 27 July 2026. The centre, located at 33 Ethniki Antistaseos and Ploutarchou in Kalamaría, will take over the compliance, taxpayer‑relations and registry duties of the local tax offices of Kalamaría, Ionia, Lagkada and FA E.

From 1 September 2026 the same functions will be transferred for the D′, E′, Z′ and Ampelokipon tax offices. A new department will handle alternative taxation applications for individuals relocating to Greece, covering all of the country except the Attica region and several Aegean islands, which remain under the Athens KEFODE. Taxpayers can use the digital portals “My Applications” and “My Appointments” on the MyAADE platform or call the 1521 service line, available 24/7 online and weekdays 07:00‑20:00 by phone.

The opening also entails a renaming of several local tax offices: Kalamaría becomes the 20th Service, Ionia the 22nd, Lagkada the 23rd, while the FA E office ceases operations. The E′ office will be renamed the 18th Service and the Z′ office the 19th Service, with D′ merging into E′.
