Greek AI leadership program and workplace survey highlight growing challenges

The Newtons Laboratory partnered with Humanis and Yale School of Management to launch the executive programme “Leading with Wisdom in the Age of AI”, the first of its kind in Greece. The two‑day event, held on 16 June at The Ellinikon Experience Centre, brought together senior leaders, CEOs and board members to discuss responsible AI deployment and strategic decision‑making.

A separate survey by consulting firm Adaptavist found that 65 % of office workers feel nostalgic for pre‑AI work conditions. Respondents reported that AI tools have intensified workloads, reduced creative space and increased the need for manual verification. About one‑third would reject generative AI due to concerns over misuse and loss of creativity, while many highlighted the difficulty of overseeing AI‑generated outputs.
