Greek and Spanish students win European eTwinning Award

Students from Greece and Spain have been awarded the 1st European eTwinning Award 2026 for their project ‘Time Travelers: The Oracle’s Prophecy’. The project, designed for the 7–11 age category, was coordinated by educators Paschalina Tetradi from the 10th Primary School of Evosmos, Greece, and Laura Gámez Garrido from CDP Divino Maestro in Jaén, Spain.

During the 2024–2025 school year, students aged 10–12 engaged in a narrative-driven exploration of history, traveling from Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire to the year 2150. The initiative utilized digital tools such as digital maps, electronic books, and stop-motion stories to foster collaboration and research rather than rote memorization.

In a separate initiative, the Perdikka Primary School has announced the launch of a new eTwinning program for the 2026–2027 school year titled ‘TASTE OF HERITAGE – Exploring Europe Through Food, Stories and Traditions Through Podcasting’. This project aims to connect students aged 10–14 across Europe to explore culinary traditions and cultural heritage through podcasting and digital literacy.
