Greek athletes succeed at U20 World Athletics Championships

Greek athletes achieved notable success at the U20 World Athletics Championships in Oregon. Evelyn Mitropoulou secured a silver medal in the long jump, while Julianna Roussou earned silver in the 800m. Eleni Iakovaki took bronze in the 400m hurdles. These performances placed Greece 27th in the medal standings and 16th in the overall points classification with 35 points.

The OAKA sports center congratulated the young athletes, emphasizing the importance of investing in the next generation of Greek athletics to ensure future international competitiveness.
