Greek chefs share salt‑vinegar method for easy peeled boiled eggs and nutrition guide for daily egg consumption

Michelin‑star chefs in Greece advise adding 12 g of salt and 15 ml of vinegar per litre of water when boiling eggs. The acid in the vinegar stabilises egg‑white proteins while the salt reduces adhesion, making shells easier to remove without changing flavour. They recommend starting the eggs in cold water, timing the boil from the moment it reaches a rolling boil, and plunging the cooked eggs into ice water to stop cooking.

A separate health overview notes that eating an egg each day for 30 days can increase satiety, support muscle maintenance and supply nutrients such as choline, vitamin D, B‑vitamins and selenium. For most healthy adults moderate egg consumption fits a balanced diet, though individuals with cholesterol concerns should follow medical guidance.
