Greek club Black Storm signs Chatzitheodoridis and Ghesan in transfer push
Greek football club PAE Kalamata, known as Black Storm, announced two new signings as it finalises its squad for the upcoming season. The club secured 28‑year‑old forward Ilias Chatzitheodoridis, a product of Arsenal’s academy who later played for Brentford, Sheffield United and several Greek teams, including Panathinaikos, Panetolikos and OFI, winning two Greek Cups.
Black Storm also added 21‑year‑old French centre‑back Axel Ghesan, a left‑footed defender standing 1.92 m tall, arriving on a permanent transfer from Pafos after spells in Nantes, United Eden, Fulham and Crystal Palace and experience with France’s U‑18 side. The club’s president and major shareholder, Giorgos Prassa, highlighted the depth these players bring to the defensive line.
In the same announcement, the club confirmed the end of a five‑year partnership with veteran midfielder Giorgos Lada, thanking him for his service and wishing him health and success in future endeavors.
