Greek clubs announce coaching appointments for 2026‑27 season

Armenian Piraeus volleyball club confirmed the addition of former Olympiacos and Milonas player Nikos Kovatsov to its coaching staff for the 2026‑27 season. He will serve as head coach of the club’s academies and as an assistant coach for the men’s senior team, bringing experience from his previous work with Olympiacos youth programs.

PAOK’s women’s basketball team renewed its contract with head coach Angelos Aggelidis for the same season. Aggelidis, who has been with the club for four years and 14 years overall in the PAOK family, said he is honored to continue leading the squad and aims to compete for a top‑place finish in the Allwyn WBL league.

Both appointments are part of the clubs’ plans to strengthen their youth development and senior‑team performance ahead of the upcoming competitive year.
