Greek conference tourism demand remains high for 2026 events
At the IMEX Frankfurt 2026 exhibition, Greece was highlighted as a leading MICE destination, ranking 19th worldwide and 12th in Europe for hosting international conferences. The Greek delegation featured 29 exhibitors, including regional tourism boards and major hotels, and hosted a cocktail networking event that showcased Greek products. Visitors from the United States, Australia, Canada and the Middle East learned about Greece’s conference facilities, and the show recorded 2,900 exhibitors from 100 countries, over 13,500 international visitors and more than 4,700 buyers.
