Greek cultural and diplomatic initiatives in Ireland and Cyprus

The National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) is promoting Greek artists through international exhibitions. Following a visit by the curator of the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), nine Greek artists—including Ileana Arnautou, Kostis Belonis, and Petros Moris—have been invited to participate in the group exhibition ‘Technologies of Peace: Art and Transition in Modern Europe (1989–2026)’, opening September 12 in Dublin.

Separately, Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Haris Theocharis is conducting a two-day visit to Cyprus on September 14 and 15. The visit focuses on economic diplomacy, investment, and strengthening business ties between Greece and Cyprus. His agenda includes meetings with the Cypriot Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Michalis Damianos, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Konstantinos Kombos. He is also scheduled to meet with leadership from Invest Cyprus and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explore new cooperation opportunities and support Greek business expansion.
