Greek Defence General Staff Graduates 34th Class of Telecommunications Officers

On Friday 31 July 2026, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff held a graduation ceremony for the 34th educational series of the School of Telecommunications Electronic Officers (STHAD) at the Officers Club in Athens. The ceremony was attended by General Dimitrios Choupis, Chief of the General Staff, and Associate Professor Dimitrios Syvritis, director of the joint postgraduate programme with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

Seventeen students received bachelor's and master's degrees – sixteen army officers and one National Guard officer. The event highlighted the partnership between the military school and NKUA, described as an innovative model linking armed‑forces training with academic expertise in telecommunications, informatics and modern technologies.
