Greek delegation arrives in Novi Sad for European Deaf Shooting Championship

A five-member Greek delegation has traveled to Novi Sad, Serbia, to compete in the 16th European Deaf Shooting Championship. The competition is scheduled to take place from September 20 to September 25 at the Sajmište Sports Center.

Due to the short notice of the event being hosted in Serbia, this year's championship will focus exclusively on 10-meter disciplines, including 10m air rifle and 10m air pistol for men, women, and mixed teams.

The Greek team consists of Andreas Panagiotoulis, Konstantinos Exarchakos, Efstratios Syvris, Olga Bokari, and Despoina Kouvari. They are accompanied by mission leader Vasileios Hagias and federal shooting coach Nikolaos Voudouris. The athletes are preparing for future international challenges, including the 2027 World Championship and the 2029 Deaflympics to be held in Athens.
