Greek Deputy Health Minister inspects hospitals in Aigio and Preveza

Greek Deputy Health Minister Marios Themistokleous conducted inspections at the General Hospital of East Achaia in Aigio and the General Hospital of Preveza to review infrastructure upgrades.

In Aigio, the Deputy Minister inspected ongoing renovations of the Emergency Department (ED). The project involves relocating the ED to a new 500-square-meter space in Building B, which will include expanded and redesigned facilities. The current ED area is slated to be repurposed for administrative services.

In Preveza, Themistokleous reviewed the fully renovated Emergency Department, a project funded by the Recovery and Resilience Fund. Additionally, the hospital has completed the replacement of 80 old beds with modern electric beds and updated equipment to improve patient care and staff efficiency.
