Greek destinations rank among world's best for seasonal work

A global study by Remitly has ranked several Greek destinations among the world's best locations for seasonal employment in the hospitality and entertainment sectors. Greece secured three positions within the top ten global rankings for these specific industries.

In the specialized category for hospitality and nightlife, Kavos in Corfu ranked second globally with a score of 63.2 out of 100. Hersonissos (Malia) in Crete followed in third place with 61.4 points, while Faliraki on Rhodes took sixth place with a score of 59.0.

When considering a broader ranking that includes ski resorts and agricultural regions, the Greek locations remained highly competitive: Kavos ranked ninth, Malia twelfth, and Faliraki seventeenth among 88 destinations across 21 countries. The study evaluated destinations based on criteria such as cost of living, rent affordability, job demand, safety, and available activities.
