Blue Hours drama series debuts on SKAI, tracing forbidden love and murder in Pelion

The new Greek television drama "Blue Hours" (Μπλε Ώρες) premieres on the SKAI network. Set against the misty landscape of the Pelion region, the story follows Angelos (Vaggelis Kakourios) and Eva (Izabella Foulop), two people trapped in conventional marriages who embark on a clandestine affair. Their relationship becomes the catalyst for a deeper conflict involving two powerful local families – the Antoniaidis, owners of the dairy company Achnagal, and the Karaiskos – whose rivalry intensifies after a shocking murder. Police officer Stavros Eleftheriou (Psahalis Tsarouchas) leads the investigation, uncovering long‑hidden secrets that threaten the entire community.

The series features an ensemble cast that includes Ieroklis Michailidis, Noni Ioannidou, Antonis Fragkakis, Elena Pierydou, and many others. Production, overseen by director Andreas Georgiou, has filmed on location in Volos, Pelion, Skiathos and Cyprus, with plans to pause shooting in August for a summer break and resume in September. "Blue Hours" is promoted as a high‑budget, atmospheric thriller that blends romance, family drama and a police procedural.
