e-EFKA and DYPA announce €56.7 million in payments to beneficiaries
The Greek Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, in coordination with e-EFKA and DYPA, has announced a series of scheduled payments totaling approximately €56.76 million to be distributed to 58,370 beneficiaries between August 10 and August 14, 2026.
Breakdown of payments includes: - DYPA will distribute €43 million, including €21 million for unemployment benefits to 35,000 recipients, €19 million for employment programs, and €1.5 million for maternity leave subsidies. - e-EFKA will distribute €13.76 million, consisting of €13.5 million for lump-sum benefits to 500 recipients and €256,000 for former OAEE benefits (maternity, funeral, and accident expenses).
Additionally, schedules have been released for September 2026 pensions. Non-salaried pensioners are scheduled to receive payments on August 26, 2026, while salaried pensioners will receive theirs on August 28, 2026.
On a broader institutional level, reports indicate that outstanding social security debts to KEAO reached €51.78 billion by the end of the first quarter of 2026, with a significant portion of the increase attributed to additional fees and penalties.
