e‑EFKA refund over‑withheld contributions 491 beneficiaries 2024‑2025

On 29 July 2026 the Greek Unified Social Security Fund (e‑EFKA) disbursed a total of €1 774 093.27 to 491 retired employees who had been over‑withheld contributions for the 2024‑2025 period. Each beneficiary could receive up to €17 266.16, with the amount credited to the bank account they provided. The refunds cover both individuals without outstanding debts and those owing money to e‑EFKA; for the latter the sum is set‑off against the total debt in accordance with Law 5078/2023 (art 114) and KYA article 11. Applications were submitted through the e‑EFKA online portal until 24 July 2026, and the agency will continue processing requests received after 25 July 2026 for future payment rounds.
