The Greek Social Insurance Institute (e‑EFKA) offers an additional allowance, known as the "support of another person" supplement, to pensioners with severe disabilities who require continuous assistance. Eligibility is not determined solely by the disability percentage; a certification from the Centres for the Certification of Disability (KEPA) must confirm that the pensioner cannot perform basic daily activities without help, such as feeding, personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, medication intake, and overall safety.
