Greek ENFIA property tax installment deadlines and penalties

Property owners in Greece who opted to pay the 2026 ENFIA (property tax for the 2025 fiscal year) in 12 interest‑free monthly installments must submit the fifth installment by Friday, 31 July 2026. Missing this deadline adds a 0.73 % surcharge for each month of delay; for example, a €130 installment becomes €130.95 if paid after July but before the end of August, and €131.90 if paid by the end of September.

Taxpayers who chose the 24‑installment plan with interest must also pay the July installment on time, otherwise a 15 % interest surcharge applies. If two consecutive installments are unpaid, the arrangement is cancelled and the debt becomes overdue. Errors such as double payments or overpayments are automatically recorded as a credit that is offset against the next due installment.
