Greek EuroLeague players earn more than LeBron James

Eight players from Greece's top basketball clubs Olympiacos and Panathinaikos have signed contracts for the upcoming season that exceed the total value of LeBron James' deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. James' contract is reported at about eight million dollars for two years, yielding roughly $2.2 million net per year. In contrast, Olympiacos centre‑forward Kenterik Nan will receive €4.5 million for the 2026‑27 season, while Panathinaikos forward Nigel Hayes‑Davis is set to earn €4 million. Other salaries include €4 million for Gerson Yabusele, €2.7 million for Mathias Lesor, €3.7 million for Sasha Bezencov, €3 million for Evan Furnié, €2.3 million for Nikola Milutinov and €2.5 million for Giann Mondo. The comparison highlights that several EuroLeague athletes are among the highest‑paid basketball players in Europe, surpassing the NBA legend's earnings with the Sixers.
