Greek Eurovision singer Akylas speaks about father's heart condition

Akylas, who represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest, told Greek TV audiences that his father was hospitalized with a serious heart problem and required a pacemaker while he was preparing for his performance. He discussed the situation on the programme hosted by Stamatina Tsimitili and later on the show Happy Day on 3 July, explaining that his parents are proud and that his mother has become a public figure. Akylas said he is focused on his music and does not want a new romance to distract him. He expressed concern for his father's health but emphasized his commitment to stay 100 % dedicated to his career.
