Greek festivals host theatrical performances in Patras and Perama

Various cultural events and theatrical performances are taking place across Greece as part of local festivals.

In Patras, the Patras International Festival hosted a children's production of ‘Pollyanna – The Game of Joy’ at the Summer Municipal Theatre. Based on the novel by Eleanor Porter, the play follows a twelve-year-old girl who maintains optimism despite life's difficulties. The production featured musical influences ranging from rock and roll and blues to country and gospel.

In Perama, the ‘Art and Vision Theatre – Delfinaki Children's Stage’ presented a free performance of ‘Snow White and the 7 Wonderful Musicians’ at the Mikis Theodorakis Municipal Theatre. This follows a successful comedy performance of ‘Didymos Belas’ by the ‘Eu(ph)oria Gelotos’ theatrical group, which was also offered with free admission to the public.
