Greek firms turn to coworking spaces and AI‑driven retail to boost growth
Greek companies are increasingly abandoning traditional leased offices in favour of flexible coworking and serviced‑office solutions. Providers such as ViOS report that these spaces allow firms to establish a presence in new markets within days, reduce upfront capital outlay, and scale office size as needed. The model is portrayed as a way to lower financial risk, accelerate sales, and attract talent in an environment of geopolitical and economic uncertainty.
At the same time, the retail sector in Greece and wider Europe is undergoing a digital transformation driven by artificial intelligence. AI tools are being used to automate inventory management, improve demand forecasting, enable dynamic pricing and deliver personalised customer experiences. The shift is supported by national programmes like the “Digital Transformation for SMEs” under the Greece 2.0 recovery plan, extending advanced technologies to small and medium‑size enterprises that form the backbone of the economy.
