Greek football clubs protest refereeing decisions

Greek football clubs Panthrakikos and Panathinaikos have expressed strong dissatisfaction regarding refereeing decisions in their recent matches.

Panthrakikos officially filed a complaint following their match against Panserraikos. The club highlighted several one-sided decisions, most notably in the 87th minute when a potential penalty involving Christos Pachoumis was not awarded while the score was tied at 1-1. The club stated they seek equality and respect on the pitch.

Panathinaikos has directed complaints toward UEFA following their match against Chrástěcký Králové. The club argues that officiating errors, including a missed handball in the penalty area and a goal scored during a wall violation that should have been overturned by VAR, have altered the match outcome. Panathinaikos claims these incidents reflect a recurring pattern of lack of respect in their European competitions.
