Greek football clubs start pre‑season training and fitness tests
Nea Artaki FC scheduled its first training session for Monday, 3 August, featuring the traditional blessing ceremony and the first phase of ergometric assessments for its players. The tests were conducted with the technical staff, club president Giannis Vagianis, and partners from LifeErgo Ergometric Center and the StayFit gym.
Macedonian FC also began its pre‑season preparations on 3 August at 18:00, holding a blessing ceremony and completing ergometric examinations that measured speed, explosiveness and aerobic capacity using modern equipment. The club highlighted the recent draw for the 2026‑27 Gamma Ethniki league and outlined its upcoming match schedule.
Both clubs aim to use the detailed fitness data to shape training programmes throughout the new season.
