Greek government criticizes Alexis Tsipras over political statements

Government sources in Greece have issued a sharp critique of Alexis Tsipras following a statement from the Greek Left Coalition (EL.A.S.). The government accused Tsipras of an inherent tendency to attempt to deceive citizens, noting discrepancies between his spoken speech and his written text.

The Greek Left Coalition defended its four-year program, which is designed for gradual implementation between 2027 and 2030 within annual fiscal limits. The coalition stated its platform rejects models of low productivity and wage pressure, instead advocating for a modern social welfare state that strengthens labor and protects public health and education.
