Greek Student Housing Grant Application Deadline July 31
The Ministry of Education opened an online platform on 30 June for the 2025‑2026 student housing grant, allowing eligible under‑graduates to submit applications until 31 July. Applicants must use their TAXI‑net credentials, meet family income limits (up to €30,000 plus €3,000 per additional child, higher thresholds for certain universities), and reside in rented accommodation for at least six months. Stipends range from €1,500 for students in Athens or Thessaloniki, €2,000 for those elsewhere, and €2,500 for co‑habiting students outside the two cities.
Separately, the ministry’s e‑registration system for first‑through‑third‑year secondary schools (GEL, EPAL, PEPAL) will close on 8 July 2026 at 23:59. Applications must be filed by parents or guardians via the myschool portal using their Taxisnet credentials. The system confirms enrollment details and issues electronic confirmations, with potential requests for additional documentation.
Both initiatives aim to streamline access to educational support and simplify enrollment procedures for Greek students.
