The Greek government, represented by General Secretary of the Government Coordination Eúi Dramalióti, announced that Greece will take up the entire amount of the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility. She said more than 90 % of the required reforms are already in place – 123 of the 136 scheduled milestones (90.44 %) – covering 74 reforms across 15 ministries and embodied in 721 legislative and regulatory acts. The administration stressed that the deadline for issuing all certification acts is 31 August, with no extension foreseen, and that the final payment request must be submitted by 30 September.

Opposition party PASOK criticised the latest revision of the “Greece 2.0” recovery plan, noting that about 100 measures – roughly 60 % of the programme – are being cut or removed. The revision was submitted to the European Commission on 8 May 2026 and only made public on 23 July 2026. PASOK argues the government has not fully disclosed the negative impacts of these cuts.
