Greek Health Minister disputes PASOK leader on telemedicine status

Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis responded to a proposal by PASOK leader Nikos Androulakis regarding the implementation of telemedicine in health centers. Georgiadis stated that the telemedicine infrastructure is already operational across the country.

During the inauguration of the Distomo Health Center, the Minister demonstrated the system in action, showing its connection to Larissa. Georgiadis noted that the initiative was carried out following instructions from Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to improve healthcare and save lives. He addressed Androulakis's recent pledge to install such systems if elected Prime Minister, asserting that the government had already completed the task.
