Greek hotels slash up to 45% on last‑minute all‑inclusive packages to boost domestic tourism
In the summer of 2026 Greek hoteliers are offering discounts of up to 45 % on all‑inclusive packages, especially for mainland destinations, to attract Greek tourists who have increasingly been travelling abroad. Surveys show that one in two Greeks are not planning a summer vacation, and among those who do, 42 % expect stays of four to seven days.
Agapi Spokou, president of the Greek Tourist Enterprises Association, said domestic tourism is crucial for regions that receive few foreign visitors and helps extend the season amid higher living costs and the economic fallout of the Middle‑East crisis. The promotions cover locations from Evia to Preveza, the shade of Mount Olympus to the Peloponnese and the islands.
