Greek islands Amoulianí and Agiofýli draw tourists with pristine, uncrowded beaches

Amoulianí, the only inhabited island of Chalkidiki in northern Greece, is reachable by a 15‑minute ferry from Trifylli. The island offers several beaches, including the popular Alikes with golden sand and shallow turquoise water, as well as quieter spots such as Karagatsia, Agios Georgios and Megali Ammos. Nearby lie the uninhabited Drenia and Goat islands, known for crystal‑clear waters and scenic walks.

On the opposite side of the country, Agiofýli on the Ionian coast near the village of Vasiliki has been praised as the "Caribbean of Greece." The beach is covered with smooth white pebbles, set against sheer cliffs, and its deep, transparent waters are ideal for snorkeling. Access is by short boat rides from Vasiliki, and visitors are advised to arrive early in the morning to secure a place and to bring water‑shoes and a mask for the best experience.
