Greek Land Registry completes migration to G‑Cloud, boosting digital services

The Hellenic Land Registry (Κτηματολόγιο) has finished moving all of its information systems to the Government Cloud (G‑Cloud). The migration unifies applications, databases and critical services that were previously spread across separate technical environments into a single public‑sector infrastructure managed by the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance.

The transition is expected to improve system stability, availability and security, delivering faster response times for citizens, lawyers, notaries and engineers who rely on electronic land‑record services. It also strengthens protection for millions of property records, supporting the ongoing national cadastre project slated for completion by the end of 2026. Deputy Minister of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence Christos Dermenzopoulos called the move a “significant step for data security and the reliability of public services.”
