Greek Left Co-partnership launches transparent donation platform

The Greek Left Co-partnership (ELAS) has launched a new online platform for financial support via donations.myelas.gr, allowing members, supporters, and citizens to contribute to the party's political and organizational activities.

In an effort to promote transparency and accountability, the party stated that the platform will provide daily updates on the total amount of donations collected. ELAS aims to build a funding model based on small contributions from a wide base of supporters rather than relying on state funding or large, opaque donations. The party leadership emphasized that this financial autonomy is a prerequisite for political independence, stating, “We do not want much from a few, but a little from many.”

The funds gathered will be used to finance political interventions, organizational development, and the creation of a comprehensive government program.
