Greek media personalities discuss television career shifts

Greek media personalities Eleni Chatzidou and Zina Koutselini have shared insights regarding their television careers and the dynamics of the broadcasting industry.

Eleni Chatzidou discussed her departure from Star TV and a television proposal she received following the end of her previous show. She noted that while a joint proposal was made with Eteoklis, it did not materialize. Chatzidou expressed her preference for seeing Koutselini in social programming rather than lifestyle segments, noting that the morning television landscape has shifted significantly.

Zina Koutselini, host of ‘Protos Kafes me ti Zina’, reflected on past professional challenges, including a rejected proposal to host ‘Happy Day’ alongside Stamatina Tsimtsili at Alpha. Koutselini claimed she faced prejudice in professional meetings, stating she was often treated as ‘populist’ because she accepted lower compensation compared to other high-earning presenters.
