Greek Medicines Agency Holds Meeting on Drug Supply Chain and Availability

The Greek National Organization for Medicines (EOP) convened a wide‑ranging meeting of institutional bodies to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the pharmaceutical supply chain. The session was coordinated by EOP President S. Sapouna and Vice‑President H. Gouzousa, with the deputy head of the Production and Distribution Control Division, D. Dima, in attendance. Representatives included the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association (President A. Valtas, Vice‑President S. Zika, General Secretary E. Katsarakis), the Federation of Pharmacy Cooperatives of Greece (President B. Birlikakis, General Secretary T. Terzis) and the Panhellenic Association of Drugstores (President Th. Skylakakis). Participants examined factors influencing the supply chain, discussed practical measures to strengthen cooperation among stakeholders, and aimed to improve market oversight and guarantee the adequacy of medicines in Greece.
