Greek midfielder Tachtsidis and Romanian defender Panțîru sign new club deals after FCSB spells

Greek international midfielder Panagiotis Tachtsidis, who has played in Greece, Italy and other countries, officially joined Cypriot club Karmiotissa. The club announced, “Este oficial! Internaționalul grec Panagiotis Tachtsidis este jucătorul echipei noastre,” confirming his return to a team close to his home after a brief period at CFR Cluj. Gigi Becali had previously expressed interest in signing him for FCSB, but the move did not materialise.

Romanian defender Ionuț Panțîru, aged 30, signed a contract with Liga II side Gloria Bistrița. After injuries limited his time at FCSB and subsequent spells at lower‑division clubs, Panțîru said he is “nerăbdător” to start the new chapter. He also thanked Gigi Becali for honoring his contract and paying his salary throughout his injury‑laden period at FCSB.
