Greek Military Airlifts 218 Patients and Five Organs in July

The Hellenic Armed Forces conducted extensive medical evacuation missions throughout July 2026. A total of 137 air‑transport missions were flown, accumulating more than 430 flight hours. The operations moved 218 patients and five donated organs to hospitals across the country.

The Greek Army performed nine air‑medevac missions between 1 – 31 July, covering 27 flight hours and transporting 10 patients along with four organs. The Air Force’s combat aviation fleet carried out 128 missions, accounting for 405 flight hours, and moved 208 patients and one organ.
