Greek Ministry launches fast‑track digital hiring service

The Greek Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance has introduced a new digital recruitment tool called “Ταχεία Πρόσληψη” (Fast Hiring). The service, integrated with the ERGANI II information system, permits employers to fill urgent staffing gaps for up to two days a week through a single electronic declaration, eliminating the multiple paper forms previously required.

Employers use the newly released “Ergani app” to submit contract details, schedule, and pay information. Workers receive a notification on the “myErgani” mobile app, can review the terms and accept the contract digitally. The rollout, slated for technical readiness by the end of July, targets sectors with seasonal or sudden labour needs such as hospitality, catering, event venues, and retail, aiming to reduce bureaucratic burden while maintaining compliance with labour regulations.
