Greek Miss World contestant Mikela Kasari heads to Vietnam for 2026 competition
Nineteen‑year‑old Mikela Kasari, crowned Star Greece 2025 and Miss World Greece 2026, will travel to Vietnam on 9 August to represent Greece at the 73rd Miss World pageant, joining roughly 120 contestants from around the world. Kasari, a student of Economics and Sustainable Development at Harokopio University, says she will use the platform to showcase a modern Greek woman who combines beauty with education and social responsibility.
Beyond modelling, she serves as an ambassador for the non‑profit NOSSLEIA, promoting support for caregivers of patients. Her participation is also a personal tribute after losing her father to stomach cancer, a loss she says fuels her determination. The competition, now a stage for social projects under the “Beauty With a Purpose” initiative, offers Kasari an opportunity to highlight Greek culture and her charitable work.
