Greek MP challenges exclusion of geologists and ichthyologists from myAGRO platform

PASOK MP Evangelia Liakouli has submitted a parliamentary question regarding the exclusion of geologists and ichthyologists from submitting and finalizing OSDE applications via the myAGRO digital platform.

Liakouli argues that this exclusion is unjustified, as these professionals belong to the same institutionalized Technical Chamber of Greece as agronomists, foresters, and veterinarians, who currently retain their submission rights. She notes that while initial legislation included a general reference to 'geotechnical engineers,' subsequent regulatory decisions removed this term, effectively barring two of the five recognized sectors of the Chamber.

The MP is calling for state intervention to ensure equal treatment and has asked the relevant Minister to clarify the criteria used for this exclusion and whether the framework will be amended to include these scientific groups to better serve producers and ease the application process.
