Greek municipalities host summer musical events

Various municipalities in Greece are hosting outdoor musical events under the moonlight this August.

In Ancient Olympia, the Municipality is organizing a full moon musical evening on August 28 at the OSE Park. The event features the musical group ‘Chroma tis Ilidas’, celebrating their 30th anniversary with a performance titled ‘Love… and also separation’. The program, directed by Giorgos Gkitziris, will include Greek repertoire with a focus on music from the 1980s. Admission is free.

In Edessa, the Municipality has scheduled a concert for August 30 at the Edessa Summer Cinema. The Youth Orchestra of Ambelokipoi – Menemeni will perform ‘A Walk on the Moon’, a program dedicated to the Greek art song repertoire. The event aims to promote cultural cooperation between municipalities and offers free entry to the public.
