Greek musical events feature Panagiotis Karousos and Olympus Festival performers

Various musical performances and cultural events are scheduled in Greece. Composer Panagiotis Karousos had a concert featuring his works broadcast on DION TV. The performance, held at the Museum of the City of Athens – Vouros-Eutaxia Foundation, included arias and duets from operas such as ‘Prometheus Bound’ and ‘Iliad’, as well as religious and classical works.

Additionally, as part of the 55th Olympus Festival, singers Alkistis Protopsalti and Nikos Portokaloglou are set to perform together at the Ancient Theatre of Dion on August 23, 2026. The event aims to bring together the distinct musical styles of both artists for a program featuring songs and stories from their respective careers.
